Hard Copy Now Finished

So I've recently finished correcting the hard copy version of my story. Now I just have to implement those changes to the computer files and I will be finished. I think. I don't think I have it in me to go through it once more, so I think that this will be the final time through. It's been a lot of work so far and although it feels good to be nearing the end of this book, I have the feeling the hardest part is yet to come. I still have to go through the publication process and work out a cover and a few other things, but I'm hoping to have it out before Christmas this year. Let's see how that turns out.

More Progress

So, I've edited four more chapters since my last update, leaving me with eleven chapters left. Most of the corrections have gone okay. I still feel like a couple chapters are a bit sluggish, but certainly not as much as they were at the beginning. I think that once I finish all these corrections I think I'll be very close to publishing the book. I'm very excited to get on with the second book.

Invigorated to More Editing

I've gotten the chance to visit with some friends of mine who haven't been around for a while and they have spurred my interest to get my book finished. Their encouraging words and comments have lead me back to the path of editing my book and I am incredibly appreciative of it.

Anyways, I've edited a few more chapters and I've very pleased with the corrections I have implemented. I've added a few sentences here and there as well as an entire paragraph that I believe helps greatly describe the atmosphere of a new location that pops up later on in the book. So I'm feeling refreshed and ready to get this book to a close.
